Creation of a visual identity and artwork for Studio Ursa. An ode to knobs, guitar strings, and the feeling of settling into a magical studio space.
Creation of a visual identity and artwork for Studio Ursa
Trying to capture the identity of a creative space, that is Studio Ursa, was the briefing for this artwork. That’s why we made a 3d composition in stylish white material combining elements of music creation. It’s an ode to knobs, lights, guitar strings, and the incredible feeling of settling into a magical studio space.
To quote Daan Schepers, big boss of Studio Ursa: “Wow that’s perfect!”

Daan Schepers
Daan Schepers is known for his work as a bass player with Bazart, Eefje De Visser, and Warhola and as a producer and sound engineer for High Hi (projects here, here, and here), Ivy Falls, Glints, Aluna George, etc…
3D illustration
These kinds of 3d illustrations are perfect for creating a little scene that conveys an atmosphere. You can combine everything in your wildest dreams and are not restricted by the laws of physics. In this way, you are able to show what you want, what you don’t want to show, and how you want to show it.
How it was made
The software used for building the scene in this project was Cinema 4D. Rendering was done using Otoy’s Octane render. Photoshop for editing the details.
At first, we went very colorful but in the end, we felt that the sense of a creative process was better captured in the image if we kept it as white as an unwritten page.
